Comfy bed, fairly clean bathroom and a kitchen area and climate control in the room. Particularly good location to get to popular Kyoto attractions thanks to a railroad station nearby the hotel. Loved nice enough area.

I recently stayed at Chita Inn in Kyoto for a few days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The owner's impeccable English made communication easy. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, meeting my high standards. The old Japanese townhouse atmosphere added a charming touch. The fully-equipped kitchen and cozy sitting area were great features. The comfortable futons and the view of the temple across the street were delightful. The location was ideal, close to the station and many restaurants. The bike rental just around the corner was a convenient bonus.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Being a budget traveler, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent value for money. The private solo room was incredibly comfortable, especially the unique Japanese-style pillow. The host was incredibly welcoming and spoke fluent English, making communication a breeze. The location was ideal, just a short 10-minute walk from the train station and close to the metro for easy access to all the attractions. The communal areas, like the kitchen and rooftop, created a friendly and sociable atmosphere, thanks to which I had the chance to meet other guests. The staff provided helpful advice on restaurants, temples, and public baths. It was also noteworthy that the manageress spoke English fluently.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, just a short walk from the main train station and close to bus stops for easy transportation around the city. , there are many restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area, providing plenty of dining options.
The walls in the rooms were quite thin, allowing noise from the neighboring rooms and common areas to be easily heard. This could be bothersome, especially if you are a light sleeper.

We had a fantastic stay at Guest Inn Chita. The single room had a traditional Japanese feel and was surprisingly spacious. The owner, Kahori-san, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The ryokan's location near Kyoto station, bus stops, and subway stations made it convenient for exploring the city. There were also several convenience stores nearby. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the toilets and bathrooms were clean. a great experience at a reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. 😊
